We are extremely happy to announce the excellent performance of our children who appeared in the First Cycle of PISA for Schools, held for the very first time ever in India.
Our School has always been a pioneer in providing our children with the best practices and most progressive experiences. India has now become the 16th country to launch PISA for Schools, and in this inaugural year, our School was honoured to be among the first group of schools chosen to participate in the esteemed, internationally-recognised,OECD promoted PISA for Schools assessment. By participating in this assessment, our school joined a global network of schools committed to improving student learning outcomes.
While PISA is intended to deliver national results, the PISA based Test for Schools (PBTS) is designed to deliver school-based results for school improvement and benchmarking purposes. By administering these tests,the school accesses to internationally comparable estimates of the performances of students and information about their learning environment and attitudes. Also insights concerning students’social and emotional skills, an increasingly important aspect in education, can be evaluated.
Our students performed significantly higher than the OECD average in all the three domains, namely, Reading, Mathematics and Science.
The scores reflect the continuous strive for perfection by adopting various strategies to enhance the learning experiences of our students. In a world of continuous change, The Future Foundation School made it possible for children to go beyond the rote learning system and adapt to the system of application based learning which tested their abilities and competencies in unfamiliar conditions.
