The Future Foundation School has always been committed to physical fitness and overall development of its students. It provides information about the playgrounds, courts, and equipment available for different sports. Our sports ground, Souplesse, is a place where the dreams of the future sportspersons come true, whether it is a game of basketball or KhoKho.

The Future Foundation School encourages regular practice and participation in sports activities. Visitors can learn about the coaching support and training programs provided to students. Photographs of sports events and practice sessions often make the section more engaging. We promote teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. It also highlights the achievements of students in various inter-school and regional competitions. This is for parents for a look at the diverse opportunities their children will have to develop their sporting talents.

The Sports & Co-Scholastic Activities (CSA) are offered by Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture and are open for all students which are not mandatory in nature. However, the school strongly encourages the students to participate as these activities are chosen with a lot of care so that the students can be helped to bring out their hidden talents, enhance their creative skills and sharpen their aesthetic sensibilities and/ or improve their physical fitness and skills in a ‘Sports’ activity.

Victory to Our Sweet Mother

Celebrating the outstanding achievement of Aranyak Chakraborty of Class VII, who emerged victorious in the WAGR (World Amateur Golf Ranking) round at the Protouch Junior and Amateur Open 2026

The prestigious tournament marked the first leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour and was held at the Tollygunge Club from April 8 to April 9, 2026.

Aranyak’s remarkable success is a testament to his dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the understanding and encouragement extended to him by TFFS, his school, which has always encouraged him to strike a fine balance between sports and academics.

We are immensely proud to share the outstanding achievements of our brilliant students at the 18th Chessmate – Inter School FIDE Rapid Rating Team Championship 2026, held at South Point School, Kolkata on April 10 & 11, 2026.

Sangbit Ghosh (Class X) secured 1st Position on the Third Board in the Boys’ Category — a truly exceptional accomplishment!

Krittika Singh shone brightly in the Girls’ Category, achieving 2nd Position on the Fourth Board — a commendable feat!

NATIONAL LEVEL GLORY!

Celebrating Participation, Physical Vigour & Integral Development

Sports has never been more important than it is today. At The Future Foundation School (TFFS), physical activity is regarded as a cornerstone of holistic education, nurturing strength, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and joy in effort.

The Annual Sports 2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm across multiple days and age groups at TFFS’s own Sports Ground at Baruipur, Uttarbhag — a well-developed multi-activity campus with both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, supporting a wide range of sporting disciplines throughout the year.

* 9 January 2026 – Students of Classes 7, 8, 9 & 11 participated in a dynamic sports programme.

* 10 January 2026 – Students of Classes 3 & 4 showcased their energy and enthusiasm.

* 17 January 2026 – Students of Classes 5 & 6 actively took part in track and field events.

* 18 January 2026 – Our youngest participants from Classes 1 & 2 filled the ground with joy and excitement.

At TFFS, the motto is simple yet powerful — Every student should participate in the sports event. Sports is not just competition; it is an opportunity for every child to discover potential, cultivate confidence, and celebrate effort.

This approach resonates deeply with the vision of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, whose philosophy emphasises the integral development of the child—physical, vital, mental, and spiritual—within a nurturing and supportive environment. TFFS Celebrates Excellence in Sports

Spandan Debnath of Class V, has brought immense pride and honour to the school through his outstanding performance at the 14th National School Chess Championship 2025, organized by the All Assam Chess Association. The tournament was held at the Sarusajai Indoor Stadium, Guwahati, Assam, from 27th to 31st December 2025.

Competing in the highly challenging Under-13 Open Category, Spandan displayed remarkable skill, focus, and strategic brilliance. His consistent and determined play earned him the

3rd Position (2nd Runners-Up) at the national level — an achievement that reflects his dedication to the sport and his disciplined spirit.

We warmly congratulate Spandan on this exceptional accomplishment and wish him continued success in all his future endeavours!

Rifle Shooting Camp

The Rifle Shooting Camp, held from October 29 to 30, 2025, at the TFFS Sports Ground, Souplesse, brought together 38 students for two days of focused learning, discipline, and recreation. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Vinay Tiwari, Founder and Head Coach of the Maharshi Dadhich Shooting Academy, and Mr. Keshav Tiwari, Assistant Coach and Physiotherapist, students received hands-on training in rifle handling, aiming, posture, and safety.

Beyond the shooting range, participants enjoyed football, badminton, a spirited song session, and a visit to a nearby village that offered a glimpse of rural life. Evenings were filled with laughter, a movie, and delicious meals of biryani, fried rice, and egg rolls.

The camp proved to be a memorable blend of sport, learning, and camaraderie—an experience that left every participant enriched and inspired.

Fun Sports Camp 2025

Venue: The Future Foundation School Sports Ground, Uttarbhag

The Fun Sports Camp 2025, held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, turned out to be a wonderful and enriching experience for all. The camp featured expert sessions conducted by teachers and CSA coaches in Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, and Kho Kho.

All the coaches, being of National and State levels, guided the participants with great enthusiasm and identified talented players in each sport. A total of 75 participants took part in the camp, displaying excellent energy, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

Special thanks to the support staff, including the cook and kitchen team, for providing delicious meals throughout the day. The menu included bread omelette, chicken/paneer biryani, lemon juice, and egg/paneer rolls, which kept everyone refreshed and energized.

The camp ran successfully from morning till 5:30 p.m., filled with fun, learning, and memorable moments.

Heartfelt gratitude to Principal Sir, Headmistress Ma’am, mentors, teachers, parents, participants, coaches, and support staff for their invaluable contribution in making Fun Sports Camp 2025 a resounding success.

Rolling to Glory!

Aranya Ghosh of Class V has made us all proud by clinching one Gold, one Silver, and one Bronze medal in three different events at the Roller Skating State Championship, organized by the Roller Skating Association of Bengal.

With this remarkable achievement, Aranya has qualified for the prestigious 63rd National Roller Skating Championship, to be held at Visakhapatnam.

We are immensely proud to announce that Shruti Mazumdar of Class X has brought glory to our school by representing the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi at the 68th National School Games 2024–2025, organised by the School Games Federation of India.

Her outstanding performance and unwavering dedication have earned her stupendous success at the national level — a true testament to her perseverance, skill, and sportsmanship!

In recognition of her remarkable achievement, the Council awarded her a cash prize of ₹5000 on November 6, 2025.

We are proud to celebrate the achievement of Uddipan Roy Class XII, at the CISCE National Chess Championship 2025, held at Greenwood High School, Sarjapur Campus, Bangalore from September 23 – 25, 2025.

Competing in the U19 Boys Category, Uddipan secured an impressive 4th Position at the national level and has been selected to represent at the SGFI National Championship!

Young Football Talent Takes Centre Stage at the CISCE Regional Pre-Subroto Cup 2026

The CISCE Regional Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2026 commenced on June 16, 2026 with a grand opening ceremony at The Future Foundation School Sports Ground, in Uttarbhag, Baruipur. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools across the region, with 208 participants present at the inauguration.

The event was formally inaugurated by Abira Das, Principal Sports Coordinator, CISCE Games & Sports, West Bengal Region, and Seema Sapru, Zonal Sports Coordinator, CISCE Zone H, West Bengal Region.

Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included renowned Indian football coach Sanjoy Sen, Suchandra Laha, Principal of The Future Foundation School, Ranjan Mitter, Director of The Future Foundation School and Mrs. Debjani Ghosh, Principal of St. Joan’s School, along with several other dignitaries from the education and sports communities.

The opening ceremony celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. Addressing the gathering, the guests encouraged the young footballers to demonstrate dedication, discipline, and fair play throughout the tournament.

The CISCE Regional Pre-Subroto Cup serves as an important platform for nurturing football talent among school students, providing aspiring players with an opportunity to showcase their skills at a competitive level.
