কলকাতার অন্যতম জনপ্রিয় CISCE বোর্ড অনুমোদিত স্কুল দ্য ফিউচার ফাউন্ডেশন স্কুল। আমাদের সন্তান শ্রীমান শ্রীনিক দেব এই স্কুলে ২০১৪ সালে প্রথম প্রবেশ করেছিল। আজ সে নবম শ্রেণীর ছাত্র। ঋষি অরবিন্দ ও শ্রীমায়ের ভাবধারায় অনুপ্রাণিত এই স্কুলে মুখস্থ বিদ্যার চেয়ে, বোঝার উপর বেশি গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়। এই শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে শুধু বই পড়ে নয় বরং “কেন” এবং “কি ভাবে” বিষয়গুলি ঘটে তা বুঝতে শেখায়। এর ফলে শিশুদের মধ্যে কৌতুহল ও আত্মবিশ্বাস বেড়ে ওঠে। এই স্কুলের শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকাদের সদর্থক ভূমিকা অত্যন্ত প্রশংসনীয়। প্রতিটি ছাত্র- ছাত্রীর প্রতি তাদের আলাদা নজর থাকে। ক্লাসে বিভিন্ন প্রজেক্টে, আলোচনা এবং গ্রুপ অ্যাক্টিভিটির মাধ্যমে পড়াশোনাকে আকর্ষণীয় করে তোলা হয়। এর ফলে প্রতিটি শিশু স্কুলে যেতে আগ্রহ অনুভব করে। লেখাপড়ার বাইরে গান- বাজনা, নাচ, নাটক খেলাধূলা – সবকিছুর সমান গুরুত্ব রয়েছে। ছাত্র- ছাত্রীরা সাংস্কৃতিক কার্যক্রমেও অংশগ্রহণ করছে, যা তার সামগ্রিক বিকাশে সহায়ক হচ্ছে।স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করেন স্কুলের সীমাবদ্ধতা দূর করতে। তাঁদের প্রতিটি পদক্ষেপে আধুনিক ও আন্তর্জাতিক মানের একটি স্কুল তৈরির চেষ্টা দেখা যায়। এই স্কুলে শিশুদের মানসিক বিকাশ, সৃজনশীলতা ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধ গড়ে উঠছে দেখে আমার মতো প্রতিটি অভিভাবক আশ্বস্ত বোধ করেন।

Throughout my childhood, I have changed my school multiple times due to my father’s transfer prone job. I never once thought that I would actually be grateful for that until it gave me the opportunity to finish the last leg of my student life in the care of the Future Foundation School.
It hasn’t been all that long since I joined just last year, however, already I find it impossible to imagine a school life as interesting as TFFS. I always seemed to have good luck with my teachers and TFFS is no different. The way I felt accepted, seen, only within the first few days at school, I knew I had enrolled in an institute worthy of respect. A school that realizes that education doesn’t stop at curriculum, but also inculcating basic human values of empathy, compassion and strength of character.
I still remember what my then class teacher in 11th grade had asked all of us new students during our first class. “What is it that you hope to learn from this school?”, My answer was “To distinguish between right and wrong”. I am confident that values I have learnt and will continue to learn here will help me do just that throughout my life.

My School
I have been in The Future Foundation School for a decade now. This school is what I would call my second home. When I first entered the school premises, I did not know what to expect. I was scared. Now, years later, I can confidently say that my second home has made me the person I am now.
Our school leans on the principles of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The school, with its teachers, has shaped my perspectives towards life. As I had always been a student who liked extra-curriculars more than studies, I had always been encouraged by the faculty to continue with my passion. This school has given me a wide array of opportunities. Every year, the school takes the students for an educational excursion, be it Auroville, Sikkim, or Pondicherry. In 2025, our school ventured on a programme entirely based on compositions by Ananda Shankar, ‘Sinfonietta’, and it had been an honour to perform it for Aspirations, as well as in Pondicherry. I had been given the opportunity to perform in Pondicherry, in the same place The Mother had performed. It would forever be a cherished memory for me.
The school has taught me to surrender myself to the Divine completely. The Ashram, in the school premises, is open for all. It has become a daily ritual for me to visit the Ashram once everyday. The peace and the divine atmosphere makes me somewhat calm and takes my mind away from the daily hustle and bustle of life.
The Future Foundation School has nurtured me in my education and my passion in performing arts. It will always be the one place I come to when I feel the happiest, the saddest, the most peaceful, and the most disturbed.

The Future Foundation School এর সঙ্গে আমার পরিচয় বিগত ১৫/১৬ বছর ধরে। যখন আমার বড় কন্যাকে ক্লাস সেভেনে এই স্কুলে ভর্তি করেছিলাম তখন থেকেই এই স্কুলের সঙ্গে আমার সখ্য।
ঋষি অরবিন্দ এবং মা এর নীতি নিয়মকে গভীর ভালোবাসায় আত্মস্থ করে পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের মধ্যে তা জারিত করার যে প্রচেষ্টা এই শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান বছর বছর ধরে চালিয়ে যান সেটিই আমাকে প্রথম আকৃষ্ট করেছিল আমার সন্তানদের সঠিক শিক্ষায় সঠিক রুচিবোধের ছত্রছায়ায় বড় করার ক্ষেত্রে।
পড়াশোনায় সর্ব ভারতীয় ক্ষেত্রে নিয়মিত ভাল ফল করার পাশাপাশি এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের যে সাংস্কৃতিক পরিমণ্ডল তা আমাকে অভিভূত করেছে বরাবরই। পরিবারগতভাবে বাংলায় সংস্কৃতিচর্চার একজন সক্রিয় সদস্য হিসেবে সন্তানদের বেড়ে ওঠার একটা সুস্থ পরিবেশ দেওয়ার তাগিদে তাই এই প্রতিষ্ঠানেরই দ্বারস্থ হয়েছি বরাবর।
পড়াশোনা ও শিল্প সংস্কৃতি চর্চার পাশাপাশি এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের আরও একটি উদার দিক হল বৃদ্ধাশ্রমের মানুষদের শ্রদ্ধা ও সম্মানের সঙ্গে কিছুটা আনন্দে রাখার কথা ভাবা এবং সেই কর্তব্যবোধের বীজ ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে রোপণ করা ছোট থেকেই। সমাজ সংস্কারের এই দিকটিও আমাকে তাই টেনেছে বারবার।
তাই সব মিলিয়ে আমার দুই কন্যা মেঘলা ও ইদা তাদের একাডেমিক ক্যারিয়ার এর ভিত্তি যে এখান থেকেই শুরু করতে পেরেছে তাতে আমি, একজন মা হিসেবে, গর্বিত।

I, Srinik Deb, study at The Future Foundation School, one of the well-known CISCE board schools in Kolkata. I joined this school in 2014, and now I am a student of Class IX. My journey in this school has been both enjoyable and enriching.
Inspired by the ideals of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, our school focuses more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. We are encouraged to ask questions and understand why and how things happen. This approach makes learning interesting and increases our curiosity and confidence.
The teachers are extremely supportive and caring. They pay individual attention to every student and motivate us to perform better. Through projects, discussions, and group activities, studies become interactive and enjoyable.
Apart from academics, equal importance is given to music, dance, drama, and sports. Students actively participate in cultural programmes and various extracurricular activities, which help in our overall development.
The school authorities are always trying to improve the school and provide better opportunities and facilities for students. As a student of this institution, I feel proud and fortunate because the school helps shape not only our academic skills but also our creativity, values, and personality.
