Our Vision

Arun Nursery School practices the concept of ‘Theme Teaching’. Learning and social skills, as well as important concepts, are developed in children through this approach
It has been found that the children who have been exposed to this method of teaching have developed greater self-confidence, awareness, thinking skills and learning readiness
This approach emphasises Concept over Content and helps the child develop a holistic understanding and outlook towards life

Foundational education is a spiral process where various topics are revisited and the information assimilated by the children, is converted seamlessly into knowledge, largely through ‘fulfillment’ – this has proven to be an impactful method
Through this theme-based pedagogy the children are well-prepared not just within the four walls of the classroom but to face the real world outside as well. Thus when a child in Arun Nursery School learns about the phonics inside the classroom, he/she also learns about the snail on the grass or the changing colours of the clouds.
Under this approach subjects are not compartmentalized as was done conventionally. The approach is to stimulate and tap into the tender and inquisitive minds of the children in order to foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and communication

The children here become conscious and alert of their immediate milieu and the environment at large. Learning here is mostly experiential and play- based wherein the children are indulged with a lot of hands-on activities which help them to explore, adapt, collaborate and develop
Under the guiding principles of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother this school gives a lot of importance on the physical fitness of the children too. For this, from a very young age classes on yoga and eurhythmics are incorporated within their curriculum. The children from a very tender age learn yoga under the able guidance of yoga and PT teacher
Arun Nursery School also aims at developing their musical sense by organizing regular music classes under the tutelage of a skilled music teacher. Beyond the boundaries of traditional classrooms, with the blue sky above and the lush green field below we make learning a thing to cherish for a life.
