Interschool Debate Competition\u2728<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The 53rd Annual Interschool Debate Competition was hosted by the Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys Academy. Ten schools participated in a spirited debate on the motion, \u201cThe long-term economic impact of war is more devastating than the loss of life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The competition recognized the top ten speakers, and The Future Foundation School achieved notable success. Subhasree Mondal of Class IX secured 5th place as a proposition speaker, while her teammate, Aishiki Bhattacharya of Class X, earned 7th place on the opposition side.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event served as an invaluable platform for fostering intellectual growth, critical thinking, and the development of well-informed perspectives among students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728Service Above Self: TFFS Interact Club Receives Best Sustainable Project Award\u2728<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are delighted to share that the Interact Club of The Future Foundation School has been honoured with the Best Sustainable Project Award at the Annual Interact Meet 2026 of Rotary International District 3291, hosted at Sri Sri Academy.<\/span><\/p>\n

This recognition celebrates Aurokul, our non-formal education initiative, which has been nurtured with dedication by the members of the Interact Club to create a meaningful and sustainable impact in the lives of children through education, care, and community engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n

This achievement belongs to every member of our Interact family\u2014our committed teachers, enthusiastic students, supportive parents, and our sponsor club, the Rotary Club of New Ballygunge.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728From Farm to Table: Earth Lovers\u2019 Club Explores Sustainable Food Systems\u2728<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The members of the Earth Lovers\u2019 Club participated in an engaging and interactive learning session on June 18, 2026 at the Hall of Light. The activity was conducted by Mrs Ruth Chattopadhyay from Paustik Life, who introduced the students to the fascinating journey of locally grown produce from farms to consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through an innovative and hands-on approach, Mrs Chattopadhyay explained the various systems involved in this process, beginning with farming and extending to transportation, distribution, market networks, and government support systems. <\/span><\/p>\n

To make these concepts more meaningful, the students were divided into small groups, with each group representing a specific component of the supply chain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Using a well-organised formation, Mrs Chattopadhyay demonstrated how these individual systems are interconnected and work together to create a complex yet efficient network that ensures fresh produce reaches consumers. The activity encouraged active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking among the students.<\/span><\/p>\n

The session was both informative and enjoyable, helping the students gain a deeper understanding of sustainable food systems, local agriculture, and the importance of cooperation among different sectors of society. Through this experiential learning activity, they developed a greater appreciation of the many people and processes involved in bringing food from farm to table.<\/span><\/p>\n

The programme successfully combined learning with participation, inspiring students to think more consciously about food, sustainability, and their connection to the environment. It was a valuable and memorable experience that reinforced the Earth Lovers\u2019 Club\u2019s commitment to fostering environmental awareness and responsible citizenship.<\/span><\/p>\n
