As exciting as it is to finish school, the joy often gets subdued by the
\nanxiety and apprehension of an uncertain academic future. Students and
\nparents find themselves fretting over an endless array of subject
\noptions\/career options, best institutes and popular courses all the
\ntime. We, at TFFS not only aim at preparing students academically but
\nalso in guiding them towards a rewarding and satisfying career. It is
\nimperative for students to identify their aptitudes, interests, career
\ngoals and aspirations in order to make well-informed decisions regarding
\ntheir future educational path. The school has arrangements for providing
\ncounselling services to the students for their career development,
\npsychological well-being and to help students select the right stream
\nand the right college across the globe.<\/p>\n

The school organises orientation sessions with the students of Class
\nVIII and counselling sessions for the parents of students of Class X to
\nhelp them in selecting the stream. Institute of Career Studies, Lucknow
\n(ICS), which has an international presence and experience in pioneering
\ncareer guidance and counselling services conducts the ‘Career Launch’
\nprogramme for the students of Classes IX and XI by the reputed
\ninstitute, that comprises the following:<\/p>\n

* Aptitude Test
\n* Seminar and Introspective Session with the students
\n* Individual career counselling
\n* Seminars with Parents<\/p>\n

The students of the senior classes are exposed to different career
\navenues, academic and professional courses, through workshops and
\nseminars. Separate interactive sessions are organised in different
\nsubjects to give the students the opportunity to meet academicians and
\nprofessionals specialised in their respective fields to help students
\nget a better understanding of the prospects in different subjects. The
\nstudents also get a wonderful opportunity to interact with our alumni
\nwho are studying and working in different fields, as they are specially
\ninvited to give talks on these areas.<\/p>\n

In association with ‘Student Outreach’ the school also organises
\nEducation and Career Fair which provides a unique platform for students
\nto explore the potential study paths, engage with education\/industry
\nexperts, gain firsthand knowledge about different courses, the admission
\nprocess, scholarship programmes, placement opportunities, etc.<\/p>\n

The school is also collaborating with FIITJEE to ensure that the
\nstudents get the opportunity to elevate themselves in aspects related to
\ncritical thinking, logical reasoning, aptitude enhancement, time
\nmanagement and prepare themselves for various competitive examinations
\nlike JEE, IOQM, NSEP, NSEC, NSEQ, NSEJS, NSEA, NTSE, etc and for the
\nentrance examinations leading to prestigious colleges including but not
\nlimited to IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISc, IISER, NISER, ISI etc. In addition
\nto the scholarship provided to the students on the basis of the
\nAdmission Test for the FIITJEE programme, the students of our school
\nwill be eligible for an additional scholarship over and above what the
\nstudent has earned through the Admission Test.<\/p>\n
