\u2728 Appreciation of Art & sensitivity to Music \u2728<\/h3>\n

On May 2, 2025, members of the Aesthetics Club were taken to AUMORTO.
\nSome were taken to Galerie La Mere where they observed the works of eminent artists who are based in Santiniketan. An interactive session was held on the techniques, forms, subjects and different other aspects of the artworks, for students of Class VIII. On the other hand, members from Classes VI and VII had a lesson on music appreciation. They listened to a piece of hard music and then to a piece of soothing music. The members then expressed how they felt while listening to the music pieces. Our school proudly participates in the Annual Mental Aptitude Olympiad conducted by LogIQids, an initiative by IIT\u2013IIM alumni and associated with Techfest IIT Bombay. The inter-disciplinary assessment is designed to enhance students\u2019 critical thinking and reasoning abilities, skills that are essential for academic success and aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the past four years, our students have actively participated in this prestigious platform, consistently demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Many of our students have qualified for the final levels and have been awarded medals and certificates, bringing pride to the school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our school is proud to have been part of the <\/span>Mock and Pilot phase of Project SHINE<\/span><\/strong>, an innovative initiative by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. Aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CISCE has envisioned\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

key stage assessments at the end of Grades III, V, and VIII to track student progress at crucial learning milestones. As part of this year\u2019s pilot, assessments were conducted for students in Grades III, VI, and IX, offering valuable insights into learning progression across stages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students were assessed across a range of competencies aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE, 2023), the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS, 2022), and the CISCE curriculum. These assessments encompassed both cognitive and social-emotional domains, ensuring a truly holistic evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

By embracing competency-based assessments through Project SHINE, our school is not only aligning with national educational priorities but also leading the way in progressive education. This initiative strengthens our commitment to nurturing future-ready learners equipped with the skills, confidence, and values needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
